Join the Military Wives Choirs as they take to the stage for an unforgettable evening of music at Cadogan Hall, London, on Sunday 6th October 2019, with ‘Remember’ – Live at Cadogan.
This special evening in the iconic Cadogan Hall sees 10 of the Military Wives Choirs coming together to celebrate the power of music-making for wellbeing, as well as recognising the unique military perspective choir members bring.
Following the successful release of their World War 1 commemoration album ‘Remember’ last year, which included prize-winning composer Owain Park’s The Poppy Red and featured soprano Laura Wright on single Brave, this will be the first time that the album’s music has been performed with multiple choirs joining together with military musicians on the London stage.
The concert will be led by the charity’s Artistic Director and esteemed conductor, Hilary Davan Wetton, who says: “The Military Wives Choirs is the most striking example of a fundamental truth; that singing in a choir changes lives. The members in this impressive network of choirs have something very special to say through their singing and ultimately, nothing is more powerful than their collective strength and passion when they come together as a group to convey something which they live through every day. This concert is certainly not to be missed.”
Concert-goers can expect a fantastic evening of music, featuring military musicians and first-hand accounts of what it means to be a Military Wives Choirs member, whilst knowing they are supporting the charity to continue to bring women in the military community closer together through singing.
Tickets cost £20.50/£18.50 for adults and £8.50/£6.50 for children and are available now through the Cadogan Hall website on https://cadoganhall.com/whats-on/military-wives-choirs-2019 or by calling the Box Office on 020 7730 4500.
