Military Wives Choirs – Women and the Army at the National Army Museum

The Military Wives Choirs are looking forward to being a part of the National Army Museum’s Spotlight Saturday event, Women and the Army, on Saturday 2nd March 2019.

Discover how women have helped shape the British Army with a day of performances, music and talks at the National Army Museum, London.

As part of Women’s History Month, the museum is open for a day of activities looking at the life of women in the Army at different points in time.

The event will include two sets from members of the Military Wives Choirs, between 11.45am – 12.15pm and 3.20pm – 4pm.

Lisa Jones, a member of Brompton Military Wives Choir, will also be on the ‘Real women: 5 x 15 talks’ panel, where she will be sharing her own personal experiences of the British Army alongside other women with different stories to tell about the British Army.

Time: Event runs from 10am – 4pm, performances between11.45am – 12.15pm and 3.20pm – 4pm
