As women connected to the military ourselves, we know how daunting it can be to move to a new posting. Or join a base for the very first time. Or say goodbye to someone you love, for months on end when they deploy or head off on an exercise. But that’s why we’re here – to help one another through the bad times, celebrate the good times and sing our way through it all together.
Just search below for the choir nearest you and get in touch with its leader.
Aside from starting to make new friends before you arrive at your new posting, getting in touch early is a really useful way to get the lowdown on your new home: what the quarters are like, whether the local schools are any good, or maybe just tips on the best places to go out!
You’re not signing up to a huge singing commitment either; most choirs rehearse weekly for between 1-2 hours. You won’t have to audition and you don’t need to be able to read music or be able to sing. You don’t need to perform either, that’s up to you. Just come along and sing..
So what are you waiting for?
If there isn’t a choir near you, simply get in touch and we can help you to set one up.
