In summer last year, members of Cosford, Innsworth & Shawbury Military Wives Choirs came together to support the fab Blake and sing side by side the band on two special tracks for their 10 year anniversary album. The ladies did an amazing job, recording both ‘Nimrod’ and ‘O Waly Waly (The Water Is Wide)’, in what was a long but incredibly rewarding day in Birmingham.
Blake’s album was released this month and fantastically, it reached number 1 in the Official Classical Album Chart! We want to say a massive well done to Blake as well as all the choir members involved. The album is available to purchase on
