Today is a very special day for the Royal Air Force (RAF).
To mark the service’s 100 years, a formation of one hundred aircraft from different eras of its history flew over central London in an iconic centenary flypast.
Congratulations to all those across the RAF network who have been involved! It’s a particularly proud moment for Dishforth Military Wives Choir member Judy, whose son led the Chinook over Buckingham Palace.
We want to thank all past, present and future members of our Royal Air Force, for all that they do, wherever they are based #RAF100
The West of Scotland Military Wives Choir were honoured to perform for the annual SSAFA Bereaved Families Support Group’s (BFSG) conference. The forty strong choir sung a fifty minute upbeat set after the conference’s completion dinner, held at the Radisson Blu, Glasgow.
Our network of choirs is expanding all the time and we are proud to be celebrating 1st Birthday’s for MWC Aldershot, MWC Paderborn, MWC South London, MWC Yeovilton and MWC Cranwell. Congratulation ladies, the cakes look yummy!
Today the Military Wives Choirs Foundation launch our new website. As well as a new design it also offers a range of new features including My Story, Interactive map and an events page.
